Is there any age limit for student visa in New Zealand?
No age Limit apply for student visa in New Zealand.
Does New Zealand accept study gap?
Yes, up to three years after intermediate, and up to 10 years gap is acceptable after graduation in New Zealand. For gap justification New Zealand accept relevant work experience, certifications, and skills development courses in that duration.
Will I get post study work permit after completing studies in New Zealand?
Yes, if the student completes a bachelor, master, and PhD in any discipline, becomes eligible for three years post study work permit and can work in relevant or non-relevant fields.
If the Student completes Postgraduate diploma level 8, becomes eligible for the post study work permit equal to the length of the course and can work in relevant or non-relevant fields. (For Example: 1-year Postgraduate diploma= 1-year post study work permit, 1.5-years PG diploma = 1.5-years post study work permit).
If the student completes non-degree programs certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma Level 5, New Zealand diploma Level 6, and graduate diploma level 7, and occupation in green list then the student becomes eligible for post study work permit equal to length of course completed.

Yes, scholarships are available for international students based on academic performance. Students with excellent marks in their intermediate and undergraduate studies are more likely to receive a 15-25% scholarship on their tuition fees.

Can I apply study visa in New Zealand after getting refusal from any other country including Australia?
Yes, New Zealand Immigration works independently. Students receive visa grants if they meet the New Zealand student visa grant criteria.
Can I apply to study more than one course in New Zealand?
Yes, The Pathway Student Visa in New Zealand allows students to pursue multiple courses at same or different accredited education providers over a period of five years, supporting up to three consecutive study programs. Students need to meet the pre-requisites for any second and third courses for their study pathway to stay in New Zealand on a Pathway Student Visa.
How much funds are required for bank statement for New Zealand student visa?
One-year tuition fee plus 20,000 NZD and return airfare which is 2000 NZD. Minimum 6-month-old funds are required. However, funds from sale deed of properties or cars need to be held for 6 months and then eligible for student visa application.
Which intake is available for New Zealand student visa?
Major study intakes are February and July each year. However, some universities or private colleges offer limited courses for intakes in September, October, and November each year as well. No, it is not a mandatory requirement. However, Immigration New Zealand conducts interviews on randomly selected student profiles to ensure visa grant compliance. Students should prepare interview questions and statement of Purpose.
What is project plan for study visa in New Zealand?
The project plan is a mandatory document that students need to submit with their student visa application in New Zealand. In this document, students provide a comprehensive description, along with evidence, of how they will cover their next year’s tuition fees and living costs.
Who can Sponsor me for studying in New Zealand?
Only immediately family members can sponsor you like father, mother, sister, brother, grandparents, and spouse.
Is there any minimum income threshold requirement for my sponsor?
No, there is no minimum income threshold for the sponsor. However, showing sponsor’s financial capacity of bearing your remaining tuition fee, living costs and general expenses is a mandatory requirement with evidence in project plan.
Is there any application fee to apply in New Zealand institutions?
Most of the institutions do not charge any application fee in New Zealand.
